 This 100-acre estate boasts the original estate home, Cir. 1790, and a wealth of natural resources including a private spring and rock quarry. The plateau known as “OverRock” offers an ideal vantage of the estate, La Soufriere, St Lucia, and some of the Grenadine islands.

 In addition to the natural resources, privacy, and beauty of the estate, it is also home to remarkable historical events. In 1796, British forces under Brigadier general Stewart defended the plateau known as “OverRock” against French and Carib forces and cannon balls and other artifacts can still be found on the property. In addition to colonial history, native artifacts have also been uncovered on the property, highlighting the area's rich history.

 The estate has been a private residence with agricultural / horticultural production under the care of 3 different families over the last 150 years. The careful and continued stewardship of the property makes Mt William not only home to one of the oldest original structures on the island, but also to some of the most productive soil on island. Historically the estate was known for its arrowroot, coffee, and mango production due to the incredibly fertile soil and unique weather conditions on the windward side of the mountains.
